It's a 15-hour journey at the price of 70$. You'll leave at 7 AM, reach San Antonio and go back to Salta, a town with pre-Columbian ruins, crossed by rivers that run down the Andes. You need to save a seat in advance at trenlasnubes@lavelozturismo.com.ar. It's a scenic ride, through tunnels and viaducts, the hotspot being the 200-feet viaduct traversing La Polvorilla canyon. Have a nap on the return trip!
