The Cathedral in Salta

I would say that the 19th century Cathedral is worth seeing since it has a very rich interior mainly done in gold and red with an enormous baroque altar. And it hosts the worshiped images of Cristo del Milagro and of the Virgen Mary (the first sent from Spain in the 16th century). It's open to tourists on mornings and evenings.
