The basic fare for the city buses, called colectivos, is 0.70 $, 1.25 $ to suburbs. It is better to have coins ready for ticket machine as the drivers do not sell tickets, but they might give you change. The bus number is not necessary information of destination, as each number has a variety of routes, but bus stops display the routes of buses.
