On Paraguay 431 there is Kelly's shop, a very large selection of reasonable priced Argentine handicrafts of wool, leather and wood. A little bit further, on Paraguay 730, there is Regionales la Rueda, selling gaucho artifacts, woolen goods, silver, leather, all the merchandise at good prices. For Latin American folk handicrafts try at Plata Nativa, in Galeria del Sol, Florida 860, local 41.
