In the centre of Plaza Dorrego is the barrio of San Telmo, one of the few places which still has late colonial and Rosista buildings. Its an artistic centre , with cafes, antique shops and a pleasant atmosphere. There's also a regular Sunday antiques market, with tango demonstrations during evening.
