San Ignacio de Loyola is the oldest Colonial building in Buenos Aires (construction began in 1710). It stands in a block of Jesuit origin, called Manzana de las Luces, Enlightenment Square. In this block there are also the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires and the Procuradura de la Misiones , as well as some 17th century hidden tunnels.
